RELEASE OF ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION EXERCISE FOR FRESH STUDENTS, 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION


This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission in Plateau State University, Bokkos that the university has released the first list of candidates admitted into its various degree programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic session.

Candidates can check their admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal.

Successful candidates are requested to accept the admission on the approved JAMB CAPS portal.

The registration of successful candidates admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session commences on Monday, 29th September 2025 to end on Monday 13th October 2025. Late registration will last between Tuesday 14th to Monday, 19th October 2025.

Meanwhile, all candidates who applied for admission into PLASU are to ensure they upload their SSCE result (WAEC and/or NECO) on the JAMB portal, without which they will not be considered for admission.

Registration Procedure

Please find below, the registration procedure for fresh students, which should be strictly adhered to:

  1. Admitted candidates are to pay acceptance fee of ₦30,000.00 and ₦3,000.00 for medical screening fee. The total sum of ₦33,000.00 shall be paid only by generating the RRR on https://postutme.plasu.edu.ng and make payment via any of the channels available on the Remita Check Out. • Please note that RRR to be generated for all forms of payment must be through https://postutme.plasu.edu.ng.

  1. Go to the University Clinic, and present your payment receipt for medical screening and obtain certificate of fitness.
  2. Proceed to the Central Registration Officer in the Academic Affairs Division of the Registry with evidence of payment of acceptance fee and the following documents for screening and clearance:
    i. JAMB UTME or DE Slip
    ii. Original O’ Level Result/DE Entry qualification
    iii. Original Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
    iv. Original Indigene Certificate
    v. Two (2) recent Passport Photographs
    vi. Medical report from the University Clinic
    vii. WAEC/NECO scratch card for result verification
    viii. Complete student’s biodata form (to be printed on the portal after successful approval by the Central Registration Officer).
  3. Candidate then proceeds to the faculty where the Faculty Registration Officer checks and screens the documents/qualifications for clearance.
  4. After being cleared by the Faculty Registration Officer, the candidate proceeds to pay Tuition fee via https://students.plasu.edu.ng/.

    • Newly admitted students should still use the username and password created during their application processes.

  5. The candidate awaits activation of the tuition fee payment by the Bursary. After activation, successful candidate can login again via https://students.plasu.edu.ng/ to get an automated matric no. and register courses accordingly.
  6. Candidates at this point can also make payment for accommodation. Hostel reservation is on First Come, First Serve basis.
  7. All students should pay the Students Union Government (SUG) yearly dues of ₦1,000 into UBA Account Number: 2062903163 and submit the evidence of payment to the SUG secretariat. Payment can also be made in cash to the SUG officials at the point of registration.
  8. The candidate returns to the Central Registration Officer at the Academic Affairs Division of the Registry Department to submit photocopies of all credentials listed above, along with evidence of payment of tuition fees, course registration form, student information form, clearance slip, SUG payment receipt and two (2) recent passport photographs for opening of file.
  9. The candidate’s name is then written in the registration Book by the Registration Officer.
  10. The Candidate reports to Students Affairs Directorate to process accommodation documentations and obtain Students Handbook.
  11. The candidate reports to the Security Division to process and collect identity card.
  12. Candidate reports to the University Library for documentation.
  13. Candidate proceeds to the University Health Services for documentation and opening of file after filling the Health Services Form which can be obtained from the clinic.
  14. All returning students are required to pay their fees using the approved links, then register courses online, print five copies of duly completed course forms for processing by the Academic office in the Registry, Faculty Officers and Departmental registration officers.
  15. Any issue arising from the Registration exercise that cannot be resolved by the Registration Officer should be channeled to the Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs Division, and subsequently to the Registrar, if need be.

18. ACCOMMODATION

It is compulsory for all fresh students to pay for accommodation and live on the campus. Accordingly, the fee for accommodation is as follows:
a. Hostel A (Female TETFund) – ₦50,000
b. Hostel B (Female NEEDS) – ₦40,000
c. Hostel C (Female Charlets) – ₦30,000
d. Hostel D (Male Charlets) – ₦30,000
