The Department of Computer Science prepares students for careers at the heart of the digital economy. Its five-year BSc Computer Science programme blends strong theoretical foundations with hands-on, practical learning across software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, computer networks and data science. Taught by a dedicated team of academics active in these fields, the programme equips graduates with the problem-solving and technical skills that today’s technology industry demands — ready to build software, secure systems, analyse data and drive innovation in Nigeria and beyond.

Program Summary

Entry Requirements — BSc Computer Science

O'Level Requirement

At least five SSCE credit passes — including English Language and Mathematics — obtained in not more than two sittings.

UTME (100 Level)

Candidates are admitted at 100 Level with an acceptable UTME score. JAMB results are verified for authenticity and compliance on admission to the University.

Direct Entry (200 Level)

Candidates holding a relevant diploma, NCE or advanced-level qualification may be admitted through Direct Entry at 200 Level.
