The Faculty of Law at Plateau State University, Bokkos, was established in 2022 under the Plateau State University Law of 2005, marking the first law faculty created by the Plateau State Government. It comprises the Departments of Public and International Law, and Private and Commercial Law, and publishes the Plateau State University Law Journal. Officially inaugurated in March 2023, the Faculty offers a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and emphasizes practical legal education through its Moot Court and mandatory participation in the Law Students Society (L.S.S.). With a mission to produce ethical, skilled legal professionals, the Faculty enforces a formal dress code and upholds values of integrity, diligence, and service to society.a
