About the Department

The Department of Educational Foundations underpins teacher education at Plateau State University, Bokkos. Its B.Sc. (Education) programme grounds future educators in the philosophy, psychology, sociology and history of education, alongside curriculum development and educational technology — the foundations on which effective teaching and education leadership are built. Entry Requirements — B.Sc. Educational Foundations

O’Level Requirement

At least five SSCE credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics. The remaining subject requirements follow the general university and NUC guidelines for the programme.

UTME / JAMB

An acceptable UTME score. JAMB results need not be submitted at application, but are verified for authenticity and compliance on admission to the University.
