Head of Law Department

Dr. Mark Yilkaghan Danung is the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Plateau State University, Bokkos. He holds LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Jos. A seasoned legal scholar, he has authored several books and published widely in national and international journals. He is also a Notary Public and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.

Entry Requirements

Admission into the LL.B. programme at PLASU requires a minimum UTME score of 220, five O’Level credits including English, Literature-in-English, and Mathematics, and success in the university’s post-UTME. Direct Entry candidates need at least 10 A-Level points or a relevant ND, plus required O’Level credits. To graduate, students must meet attendance and fee requirements, pass all courses, and earn 150 credit units (UTME) or 120 (Direct Entry).
