Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening — 2026/2027 Admission Cycle
Plateau State University, Bokkos is conducting an online Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Apply on the PLASU Portal → Registration closes Sunday, 20 September 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.You must have chosen Plateau State University, Bokkos as your First Choice institution on JAMB, and uploaded your O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal. If you need to change your institution or course, do that on the JAMB portal before starting your PLASU application.
Who can apply
UTME candidates
You are eligible if you chose Plateau State University, Bokkos as your First Choice and scored 160 or above in the 2026 JAMB UTME. Some programmes require a higher score — check the cut-off marks below before you pay.
Direct Entry (DE) candidates
You are eligible if you chose PLASU as your First Choice in the 2026 JAMB Direct Entry application and hold one of the following:
- A first degree
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- National Diploma (ND) — minimum of Lower Credit
- Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) — minimum of a Merit grade
- IJMB or JUPEB — minimum of 6 points
Direct Entry candidates must also meet the minimum admission requirements for their chosen programme.

The general cut-off is 160. These programmes require more:

How to apply
The entire application is completed online at postutme.plasu.edu.ng. Work through the four stages below.
Stage 1 — Create your account- Visit https://postutme.plasu.edu.ng.
- Click “New Applicant – Apply Here.”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Complete the registration form with your active phone number, valid email address, password, mode of entry and preferred programme.
- Click Register. A verification link is sent to your registered email address.
- Open your email and click the verification link to activate your account, then log in to the portal.
- Click “Make Payment” to generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Complete payment of the prescribed fee using any available payment channel.
- Upload a recent passport photograph and your signature — maximum 150KB each, in JPG/JPEG/PNG format.
- Enter your O’Level results (maximum of two sittings), beginning with the five subjects relevant to your programme.
- Provide valid scratch card details for online result verification.
- Complete the remaining sections: personal information, parent/guardian details, next of kin and contact address.
- Upload supporting documents — O’Level result, Certificate/Letter of Indigene, and Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age.
- Review all information carefully.
- Accept the declaration confirming that all information supplied is true.
- Submit your application.
- Print your Application Slip, University Receipt, Remita Receipt and Screening Summary — keep these safe.
Candidates offered admission must accept the offer on JAMB CAPS within two (2) weeks.

Important information
- Only candidates who selected Plateau State University, Bokkos as First Choice are eligible.
- Confirm that you satisfy the departmental cut-off mark before applying.
- Candidates wishing to change institution or course should do so through the JAMB portal before completing the PLASU application.
- Candidates offered admission must accept it on JAMB CAPS within two (2) weeks.
- You must upload your SSCE and/or ‘A’ Level results on the JAMB portal — without this you may not be offered admission.
- The University reserves the right to verify all submitted credentials.
Providing false information or forged documents will result in disqualification. Candidates offered provisional admission on the basis of wrong information will not be registered and may be liable to prosecution.
Candidates and members of the public should beware of fraudsters who may front as agents of the University to dupe unsuspecting candidates under the pretence of offering them admission.
Admission into Plateau State University is handled directly by the University and JAMB — never through any third party or agent.
