PLASU GOVERNING COUNCIL CHAIRMAN INSPECTS SITE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FEMALE HOSTEL.

The Chairman, Governing Council, Plateau State University, Bokkos, Monsignor Professor Francis Obiora Ike in company of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Matur Malau Bernard has led other Council Members on an inspection of the recently handed over site for the construction of Female'Hostels for undergraduates of the university to Dang Global Nigeria Limited and Ogas Project Limited who are handling the work.
In his remarks at the site, Professor Obiora decried frequent reports of collapsed buildings which he said is alarming due to the use of substandard building materials and quacks in the construction industry.
He appealed to the contractors to exhibit professionalism in executing the building plan" saying "if you can deliver quality work, we shall shortlist you in the future when the need arises. "
He solicied for a modern building that can easily be maintained and can add value to the money spent.
Present at the inspection was the representative of Dang Global Limited, Obinna Udeh who promised to sustain the long established image of the company by providing quality work to Plateau State University.
It will be recalled that the Vice Chancellor Plateau state University, Bokkos, Professor Matur Malau Bernard recently handed over the building plans of the hostels to Dang Global Limited and Ogas Project Limited with a time frame of over 22 weeks to handover the project for use.
In a related development, Plateau State University Bokkos has resolved to start the production of table water with a private company by the name, Vishen Group of Company.
The Council Chairman, Monsignor Professor Francis Obiora Ike disclosed this while inspecting the site of the project with members of the University Governing Council and the representative of Vishen Group of Company, Apostle Habila Joshua Nanfwang.
The factory hopes to produce six thousand (6,000) battles and a minimum of five thousand (5,000) bags of sachet water daily.
The water shall be sourced from the boreholes of the university and has the capacity of employing fifty( 50 )workers who will be graduates of the university.
