PROFESSOR MATUR CAUTIONS SUG OFFICIALS NOT TO BE INFLUENCED BY NEGATIVE EXTERNAL FORCES.

The Vice Chancellor, Plateau State University Bokkos, Professor Malau Matur Bernard has cautioned the newly sworn in Executive Council of the Students Union Government not to allow themselves to be used as agents that will hinder smooth academic activities in the institution.
He gave the admonishment when he led other management of the university to the inauguration of the newly elected Executive Officers of the Students Union Government of the University.
According to Professor Matur, Management of the University is looking forward to a cordial working relationship with the Student Union Government as well as other unions in the institution towards enhancing uninterrupted academic activities to enable them graduate within the stipulated academic calendar.
He equally called on them to adopt dialogue as a way of mitigating misunderstanding on campus.
The Vice Chancellor thanked the Peter Arin led officials for their meritorious services and wished them success in their future endeavors.
In a welcome address, the Dean, Student Affairs Officer, Doctor Felix Masok expressed hope saying, that the new crop of SUG officials will usher in good tidings to the institution.
President, Students Union Government Plateau State University, Bokkos, Comrade Gomos Mundi Timothy, promised to stand as a link between students and management of the institution.
Other officials of the SUG include Bulus Sarah Davou, Vice President, Jeremiah Abel Dung, Secretary General, Isaac Patience Bimorit, Assistant Secretary General.
Buba Titus Nankap, Financial Secretary while Diship Plangnan is Treasurer while Danjuma Noknaan is Public Relations Officer. Other officials are, Samuel Ayuba Wash, Director of Socials, Rwamko Dyanin Godwin Director of Sports, with Nnaemeka Blessing Nkechinyere Welfare Officer, and Stephen Zwalsuk Ezekiel is the Sales Secretary.
