PLASU TO PARTNER WITH FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE IN TRAINING THE UNIVERSITY'S SECURITY ON FIRST AID FIRE FIGHTING SKILLS.

The Vice Chancellor Professor Malau Bernard Matur has consented to availing the security agencies of the university the opportunity to be trained on first Aid fire fighting skills by the Federal Fire Service as part of the university's effort in safeguarding private and public facilities.
Professor Matur made this known when he received the men of the Federal Fire Service Plateau State Command led by the Controller, Kurtsi Iribum,in his office in Bokkos.
According to the Vice Chancellor, this is coming at a time when fire disaster is on the increase particularly in higher institutions thereby causing economic and infrastructural setbacks.
He assured of his unflinching collaboration with the men of the fire Service to ensure that staff and students are sensitized on how to act during fire outbreak to avoid losses.
Speaking earlier, the Plateau State Controller Federal Fire Service, Controller
