The attention of Plateau State University Bokkos has been drawn to the existence of a certain Online Account purporting to be the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Yohana Daniel Izam.
For the avoidance of doubt,this link has been created for the purpose of impersonating the Vice Chancellor with the veiled intention of defrauding unsuspecting members of the public online.

We wish to categorically state that the duties of the Vice Chancellor does not include canvassing contract partnerships online.
Rather, the University’s Procurement Unit handles all issues related to Supplies and contractors are guided by these extant public procurement rules/requirements and should abide by such guidelines,please.

The University by this notice distance itself from the fraudulent antics and nefarious activities of such unscrupulous impersonators and urges members of the public to note that the Vice Chancellor has never solicited for, nor will ever solicit for favours in return for promise of contract patronage or employment as is being peddled and propagated by these impostors.

We are utilising this medium to urge the unsuspecting public to be perpetually conscious of such ‘Whatsapp or Facebook Account’ (s), and desist from patronising them while
urging those prospective victims to help in exposing and reporting such impostors untill the long hands of the law catch up with them, please.
